After parting ways with Shaaman in 2006, Brazilian singer Andre Matos (ex-Angra, ex-Viper, ex-Shaman, ex-Looking-Glass Self, Virgo) decided to found a band under his own name. Bringing along with him all the members of Shaaman save for drummer Ricardo Confessori, Andre Matos began work on his debut cd in 2006. The lineup was originally completed by drummer Rafael Rosa, who had to leave the band in early 2007 for personal reasons, before the release of the band’s debut album “Time To Be Free”. Rafael was replaced by Brazilian drum prodigy Eloy Casagrande who was made a full member of the band in 2007.

Well I'm from Brazil and all... But Andre is not one of my favorites... His voice is to high-pitched for me... But he is a great musician! Went with bands like Angra, Shaman!! Awesome!

Ofcourse there is...Ive been a fan since late 2002. i was only 15 at the time so i couldnt see any shows becaus shaaman didnt tour Sweden and didnt under its whole carrer...when André Matos supporterd Edguy last year i traveld to London and he invited me backstage...awsome...i also did see him with Avantasia in Swedenrock..it was one of the strongest moments in a concert for me.
