Amanda's new metal project TRILLIUM

Amanda's started her own metal band! Other band members etc to be announced later this week. About time, don't you think?

It feels like such a relief to be able to actually talk about this now, as Tessa and I have known for quite some time but haven't been allowed to talk about it!

I'm very excited. I hope they come to the UK for once!

So I hope there´s finally a chance for her to go on tour in germany.

Soooooooo pumped for this. I swear, if there are tourdates in the US that I can't make, lives will be claimed.

Also, any details on the Dreath project? The Facebook page wasn't too informative beyond their..."plot".

So we can tell Amanda that we specifically want her to tour in Germany, the UK and the US... and pretty much anywhere that we could possibly see her.

This counts for previous solo stuff as well as this new Trillium project

As for Dreath, I don't really know... but to be honest I don't think the plot sounds that great? I hope to be pleasantly surprised...

Most definitely; though I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, I don't I think can afford to fly over to Europe to see her lol

Yeah, the plot sounded so ridiculous that I wasn't quite sure how to respond to it. I just assume that it would be something fun to see just for the hell of it. Only other thing I know is that Liv Kristine is also involved.

Well, I'm glad you said that. I just didn't want to be the first to say that the movie plot sounded ridiculous

I am really excited about Trillium. I can't help but wonder what style they would play in. I can't really imagine it being like most other female-fronted bands, which is a good thing, but I just don't know! I guess this is what makes it even better

All we know for sure is that it will be:
epic
awesome
and wondrous beyond imagination

In all seriousness, I figure it'll be more like Avantasia or Kiske/Somerville as opposed to HDK in terms of style. But I think Amanda will have some surprises in store for this one (I will buy this album when it comes out even if it costs me a day or two of no food.)
